Strong Mind Have a Strong Mind

How to have a strong mind? I am sure that you would like to know the answer to that question. I remember reading this from Mark Victor Hansen and I think it is a great read.

Here are 6 Steps to a stronger mind.

  1. Read Right

The world is full of negative things. If you watch too much television, you will realize just how much negativity is out there. Some people watch too much CNN (Constant Negative News). We need to read some positive books and inspirational books such as How To Win Friends and Influence People
Get books that will lift your spirit and not destroy it.

       2.  Share Your Mind

Go and meet people who share the same mindset as you and hang around them. Get around people who treat you as though they are an elevator. They take you up and lift you up when you need them.

      3.  Find a Mentor

We live in a world where we need more mentors and less tormentors. We could never get enough of people who can take us to a higher level in our lives. If you can get a coach to meet you on a weekly basis then that will be great. If not, see if you can get their books or attend some seminars they have etc. This will help to grow your mind

  4.   Listen to Motivational Tapes

This is one I really like to do. I like to put on a Jim Rohn Cd, or a Brian Tracy Cd or watch a DVD by an inspirational person and gain a lot of wisdom that sure expands my mind. If you would learn to invest some money into these tapes it will work wonders in your life.

       5.  Sign Up and Attend Seminars

Check your Newspaper and see if there are any interesting Seminars in your area. As a Youth Leader in church I am constantly going to these things every year to expand my mind in this area since it is very challenging to reach Young People today.

       6.  Turn off the Television

The average amount of time per day people watch t.v is 7 hours. That is too much time. Take some time away from the television and use that extra hour or two to read a good book, listen to a good CD, spend time with your family etc.

If you will do these 6 things on a consistent basis you will know how to have a strong mind and not only would you know but your mind would be a lot stronger than it is right now and many people would be impressed with your growth and the knowledge that you share on a consistent basis. These are some great mind power secrets.
