Changing the world one compliment at a time!

Good day folks how are you all doing? I hope all is well. Today’s post is a per­sonal expe­ri­ence that I had and I will like to share it with you. In the last post I talked about chang­ing the world and in today’s post I want to share how a sim­ple com­pli­ment can go a long way for people.

A few months ago I got an email from Joe Kasper  of Fireyourdiet.com who is an extremely help­ful per­son in the area of fit­ness and health. Now I am a per­son who sub­scribes to a lot of online newslet­ters from many busi­ness peo­ple and Joe was just one of the hun­dreds I sub­scribe too!!! By the way I never knew Joe nor does he know me!

Any­way the email I got from Joe was that he wanted to know the birth­days of his sub­scribers so that when there birth­day comes he will give them one of his paid prod­ucts for free and you can pick which prod­uct you want. I was aston­ished at this and I found that this was a great thing he was doing.

Now I wanted to get one of his free prod­ucts when it was time for my birth­day so here is the email I sent him

i am brian ramd­han. My birth­day is 3rd March 1983. My con­tact no. is xxxxxxx.(Intentionally left out)

Let me just say that this is a won­der­ful thing you are doing and I havent seen any other mar­keter do this before!!!! Keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!

That was all I sent in the email and I want you to know that I was gen­uine in my com­pli­ment to him. I didn’t want or expect any­thing from him. Guess what happened?

A few min­utes after I got a call from Joe Kasper him­self and I was over­whelmed! He was extremely excited to talk to me and he said he was very appre­cia­tive of what I had said and he told me that even though it wasn’t my birth­day he wanted to send me not one, but two of his prod­ucts for free just because of those kind words from me!!! I was shocked.

I really didn’t expect any­thing from him. I was just try­ing to be sin­cere. I did not think that such a small com­pli­ment could mean so much to an extremely suc­cess­ful per­son as Joe Kasper!!! I got the prod­ucts within a few weeks time. I just needed to cover the shipping!

I say all of this in order to say that the small things are in fact the big things!!! A sim­ple com­pli­ment, a sim­ple smile for some­one can go such a long way you will not real­ize it until you do it. The world is cry­ing out for peo­ple to just send a small touch of good­ness their way!!

I am ask­ing you to sin­cerely be a per­son who will change the world one com­pli­ment at a time!!!
