Hi there. Today I will like to talk to you about having a balanced life. I think one of the keys to success is living life in a balanced way.

Sometimes we may be people who have lots of dreams and big goals that we want to accomplish in our lives and we spend lots of our times working on achieving these goals. The problem that most people have when they go after their dreams is that they go after their dreams and they achieve it only to realise that it wasn’t worth it.

Now what do I mean by that? These people achieved their dreams and now it isn’t worth it? Some people climb up the ladder of success only to realise that in their pursuit of their goals they lost their health, or their marriage or their relationship with their son/daughter in the process….

Now that is a very sad thing. While we may have big goals and dreams we need to be careful how we go about achieving those things. Imagine if you are a parent and you decide that you are gonna work hard to make lots of money so that your children can be taken care off for the rest of their lives.

Guess what happens. You work very hard, in fact when the boss is telling you to get some rest, you refuse to do so cause you want to show him just how great a worker you are. You do this constantly every year for 5 years then your body begins to shut down on you because it has not had a rest for ages. You begin to suffer from serious pains in your neck and across your body due to stress. You are now constantly having to see a doctor cause you don’t have the strength to work.

Do you see what is going on there. We need to be careful how we go after these dreams of ours…..Make sure that in your pursuit of your dream, you do not lose the things that are most important to you and as one of my mentors said – The things we have gotten freely are really the most valuable things we have and these are our minds, our health, our family, our friends etc.

So set great and mighty goals but remember that you want to make sure that when you have achieved such goals you have not wasted your life on pursuing something that wasn’t worth it in the final run.

Learn to have a balanced life cause when there is a leak in one area of your life, it affects the other areas!!!

Hi there. In this post I want to talk to you all about the concept of clean cuts.

Now you are probably wondering what do I mean by clean cuts. Is this a hair cut we are dealing with?

Off course not. When I say clean cuts, I mean that when you have finished working on one thing for a given period of time e.g 1 hour, then you need to cut it clean. You need to stop focusing on it afterwards. This is a great time management technique.

For example, if you are working on an essay to hand in for school and you spent about 1 hour working on it and you finished it, you need to stop thinking about it afterwards. You need to move on to the next thing on your list without worrying about if the essay was good enough or if it was long enough because your mind can only focus on one thing at a time and you will cause the other thing you are working on to be done in a half hazard way because you will not be concentrating on the main task at hand.

This is something that may take a while to get used too, if you already have the habit of looking back at things that you just did to make sure they are perfect.

Clean cuts is a very good time management technique and Iwill like to hear your views on this topic. So feel free to leave a comment or share on your favorite social media site.

Thanks again and we’ll talk soon
